About me

I am Nichola Ross Martin, an FCA, and I have been in accountancy practice with the odd industry break for the last 20+ years working for firms of various shapes sizes.

Many years ago I became interested in tax and started answering “Readers’Queries” in Taxation magazine, but now I am also tax editor of www.accountingweb.co.uk and rung my own tax practice: Ross Martin Tax Consultancy Limited.

I launched my "virtual" tax partner service in 2001 and I act as /tax consultant/virtual tax partner to a number of firms of accountants in the UK and Europe as well as retaining several individuals and corporate clients in the UK.

My Practical Tax Guide series, together with Practical Tax Checklists which are available by subscription. These are the fruits of some six years of writing and research, and developed from my work in my own practice and assisting other tax practices.
