IFAs are warning employers that they may not have the spare capacity to assist employers in meeting their obligations in setting up their workplace pension schemes ahead of auto-enrolment.
As it takes some time to set up a scheme employers are urged to contact their financial advisers as soon as they receive notice of their staging date. This will give employers a year's notice.
When is my staging date?
An employer should expect be notified of its staging date one year advance, however it can check by entering its PAYE reference number into the Pensions Regulator's online checker.
