The Association of Taxation Technicians (ATT) celebrated its 21st Anniversary on 30th September 2010.

The ATT was established in 1989 (the same year as the World Wide Web was invented) under the sponsorship of the Chartered Institute of Taxation. Roy Jenning was its first president and fourteen presidents later the 2010 incumbent Simon Braidley can boast that its members and student population has grown to over 11,000.

Comedian Jon Culshaw entertained guests at the ATT’s birthday party at the Gherkin in London with many impersonations (including G W Bush who told us what a pleasure it was to come to the Pumpkin…). A fine time was had by all.

The ATT can also boast a fine new website: http://www.att.org.uk/
