Job title: Sales and marketing executive for Tiger Dog Media & Publishing Ltd

Salary: Basic (market rate) + commission + employee benefits

Hours: Full or part-time (2+ days per week)

Job description:

  • To design, create and implement a sales and marketing strategy for the company in order to promote the brand and drive sales of our online subscription products.
  • To promote our new Virtual Tax Partner Tools and other products among the finance and business community.
  • To increase sales by building on current customer relationship management and building new relationships b2b, via physical and virtual meetings, email and phone.
  • To expand on and create new social media campaigns and all other avenues of marketing working closely with the board of directors.
  • To prepare and report on performance data.

We are an online business, you will be based at home, sometimes attending external events and exhibitions, but always working very closely with our directors and our team.

We work via Skype and Zoom and phone and meet on a daily basis.

Key Sales targets:

  • Increase annual revenue
  • Retain customers (not that we are bad at this)
  • Expand the brand: increase sales leads
  • Explore new marketing opportunities

About you: 

  • You are a highly motivated self-starter sales professional
  • You have relevant sales and marketing experience and a proven track record
  • You are highly organised yet personable
  • You can maintain focus while working at home
  • You are available to work during normal office hours 9am-5pm
  • You have the necessary space to work comfortably and safely from home. If this is a problem we can see how we can work around this.

About the company:

We are Tiger Dog Media & Publishing Ltd, we run www.rossmartin.co.uk an online practical tax database, which aims to answer most of the tax FAQs that are asked by accountants and advisers. We launched this webservice in 2010 as a low budget experiment. Although we have never had the pleasure of running a sales team, we have built up a customer base of thousands of subscribers who are mainly accountants, tax advisers, business owners and finance professionals. During Covid-19 lock-down we went on a recruitment drive to build up the tax writing and editorial side of the business. Our next step is to find the right person to join us and create a sales and marketing plan as we move on to the next stage of our journey.
