The chancellor has announced that the Autumn Budget 2017 will be held on Wednesday 22 November 2017.

Many of the measures in this bill apply retrospectively from 1 April/6 April 2017.

Draft secondary and tertiary legislation for Making Tax Digital was published on 13 September 2017.

Further legislation for Finance Bill 2018 is due to be published shortly. This will include measures that will apply for the 2018/19 tax year and beyone as well as anti-avoidance measures, which generally take effect from the date of publication.
