31 October is the deadline for filing your tax return if you wish to make a paper filing for the 2021-22 tax year.  Filing by paper after this deadline can lead to a penalty.

Paper returns can be used where the return cannot be completed online.

HMRC no longer send out paper tax returns for customers to complete automatically, but a form can be requested by phone or the form can be downloaded here.

The deadline for filing online and tax payment for the 2021-22 tax year is 31 January.
