Chancellor Philip Hammond will deliver his first Autumn Statement on Wednesday 23 November 2016, this will outline proposals for Budget 2017.
The new chancellor is looking for quick, effective "fiscal stimulus" in order to get the economy moving. This could include tax cuts or public infrastructure projects.
