The first draft of Finance Bill 2017 has been published.

The bill includes a number of measures previously announced at Budget 2016 and the recent Autumn Statement, including changes to the VAT flat rate scheme and the treatment of personal service companies (PSCs) working in the public sector.

Comments on the draft legislation are invited up to 1 February 2017.  The final contents will then be confirmed at Budget 2017.

The draft bill can be found together with explanatory notes here

Given that the bill alone runs to a rather substantial 398 pages, you may prefer to check out our Finance Act 2016: tax update and 2016/17 rolling planner.  This is constantly being updated and keeps track of all the proposals for tax year 2016/17 and beyond.
