The Chancellor Kwasi Kwarteng is expected to deliver a mini-Budget on 23 September 2022. 

According to news reports, the Chancellor is expected to remove the cap on banker's bonuses placed by EU following the financial crash in 2008. 

The Prime Minister, Liz Truss, has already stated that she wants the Chancellor to reverse the current increase in the National Insurance rate and to block the previous Chancellor's rise in the Corporation Tax rate to 25% next April.

Jacob Rees-Mogg, Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) has also been pressing, post-Brexit for deregulation of insurance and banking.

Parliament has agreed to delay its party conference recess by one day, it was due to commence on 21 September.
