Stamp Taxes: Autumn Budget 2025
Changes to Stamp Taxes announced at the 2025 Autumn Budget include a Stamp Taxes on Shares modernisation project intended to lead to Stamp Duty and Stamp Duty Reserve Tax being replaced by a single tax on transfers of securities that will be known as the Securities Transfer Charge (STC).
