HMRC's proposals for ESC C16 are causing a stir; basically they will put an end to the informal process of striking off for all but the smallest of companies.

As a result of so many enquiries this week we have been updating our (subscription only) guide to Surplus cash, CGT & IHT relief & ESC 16.

Following a recent decison in the Tax Tribunal we have also updated our guide to Close Investment Holding companies too.

The next edition will include our quarterly Tax Adviser update.

Best wishes

Nichola
