HMRC has published a list of tax avoidance schemes on which users may be asked for an upfront Accelerated Tax Payment.
The schemes are listed by DOTAS number.
When a DOTAS scheme user has an ongoing tax dispute with HMRC they will be sent Accelerated Tax Payment notices in a process which HMRC commenced in August 2014 and will bring in billions in disputed tax payments.
