Taxpayers or prospective taxpayers have only a couple of days left to inform HMRC of any undeclared property income or capital gains under HMRC's Property Sales campaign.
Taxpayers must:
- Notify HMRC of their intention to take part in this campaign by 9 August 2013
- Complete their disclosure by 9 September 2013
The campaign is a disclosure opportunity: it is available for undeclared income or capital gains on the disposal of second homes and private residential property. It is not available to commercial property or taxpayers who are not individuals.
