Technical tax professional wanted: working from home. We are looking for someone who is very strong in SME company / owner-managed business tax. Based working at home, part or full-time.

The role is a combination of:

  • Technical writing, working with the team to keep making such a wonderful resource. You must be good at writing, research, enjoy a challenge and different work each day and be adaptable and flexible in your outlook and love tax. You do need a reliable internet connection as we are 100% digital.
  • Providing tax advisory support via our Virtual Tax Partner support portal at, every query brings a new challenge, ideally you will be very strong in SME corporate tax and have a good breadth of experience across the main taxes affecting SMEs and their owners, including employment taxes.
  • You must ideally have had lots of hands on experience in working with OMBs, probably have spent time in compliance and understand all the challenges of working in practice.

Great to have all-rounders: if you are applying from a really big firm your experience may be too 'niche' for us, although do send in your CV.

Salary and hours are negotiable with share option scheme, bonus scheme and benefits. Preferably your background is as a qualified accountant with a CTA qualification.
