The Welsh Parliament has announced that its outline and detailed draft Budget will be published on Tuesday 10 December 2024. This will set out the tax, spending and financing plans for Wales for 2025-26.
The final Welsh Budget will be published on 25 February 2025.
Since 6 April 2019, Wales has been able to set its own Welsh Rate of Income Tax. This followed the introduction, from 1 April 2018, of Land Transaction Tax (LTT) which replaced Stamp Duty Land Tax in Wales.
The last draft Welsh Budget was published on 19 December 2023.
